That's what I thought. Or at least they'd come for us and we'd have a fighting chance.

But no, they locked us up, like cowards, and knocked us out. And killed Death for good fucking measure.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

So we're going to have to figure it out - especially if the others ditched. I can't find them anywhere today.

Will we be able to? Nothing looks different to me, no matter where I look today.

That's twice as worrisome if the other three can't be contacted. Losing Death would be a shock to anyone but especially to them.

[ she wouldn't be surprised if it made them run and hide for whatever reason. ]

I'm just hoping they're laying low, after everything. I don't want them to get into trouble.

[she's fond of them, despite everything.]

... I'm not a planner, starbird. I just do. This whole talking thing has got me going crazy, I don't like just standing around.

[she's saying they need to figure out but really what she wants is someone smarter than her to point and go, go kill, go smash.]

We don't need to lose any more people.

... I wish we could do more. I don't like sitting still either. It's why I'm trying to talk to as many as I can today.

[ because for her, that is doing something. it's more than nothing. ]

But if there isn't much we can see, what comes next is difficult to tell. I at least want to see how people are feeling or what they want to try to do.

I've been trying to talk to the kids. [that's what is most important to her.] I don't want them upset, and I don't want them to see the worst of it.

That is doing something. That's commendable. Support isn't something that should be ignored or underestimated.
