I wonder what it was like, in this theater, before everyone left. Was probably pretty lively.

It looked like it was home to some kind of circus troupe.

I guess that would be the most lively kind of entertainment. Wonder if they ever did anything else here, like plays or something.

I don't see why not. A circus has to take a break sometimes.

Robin, right? I saw you have singing and performing on your profile, is that something you do all the time?

Every once in a while. You can say it is my career as much as anything else.

week 2, monday

[ I WANT A MEMORY IN RETURN. I'M STATING THAT FIRST, but i'm still writing my memories up. you'll get it in the next tag.

robin is going to flag nina down with a raised hand. ]

Good day, Ms. Nina. [ is it? ] You don't have to answer this question if you don't wish to, but after last week, I wanted to see how people felt about the monster affinity partnership. Have you found your partner, and if you haven't, do you want to?

[ holds your hands!!

wanders over. ]

Hey, Robin. [ it's a good day as of right now i guess. ] Ah, no, I haven't found them yet. Truth be told, I haven't done much in trying to find them, haven't even told anyone yet. [ shrugs and thinks. ] I think I would like to, though, especially after the rulebook update. Kinda sad if you end up orphaned, because your partner got killed before you could find each other.

[ maybe she thinks dying together is more romantic?? it's some crazy fated soulmate thing, which she's a sucker for. ]

What about you, have you found them yet?

[sonorant]

That's a perspective I haven't heard yet.

[ robin can understand it enough. ]

I haven't found mine yet.

[ but before she can say anything more.... shadows!!! ]

[ she nods, a small smile on her face. ]

[ and then here comes the memory!! and boy is it a doozy...

nina is left blinking away tears, tears that she isn't sure she has the right to shed. it's not something she actually lived through, but having just seen it from robin's pov, sure does make it feel like she did!

she's silent for a moment, as she wipes the tears away and sniffles. her voice is quiet, considerate, when she speaks. ]

I couldn't imagine... going through something like that... I'm so sorry, Robin...

[sonorant]

[ she smiles slightly. it's not that she wants any kind of trauma to be glazed over, but it's sweet when people care. ]

It's all right. It's something that's happened long ago. I've made my peace with it.

week 3, monday

[ library!! there's so many interesting stories here, so she's been kinda glued to the shelves, trying to find all that she can. but she pauses her search upon seeing robin! ]

Robin! How are you feeling?

[ she'd usually ask "looking for anything in particular?" but seeing as how it's only monday and miss girl just went through execution YESTERDAY... this takes priority. ]

[sonorant]

[ robin has a pair of demon wings coming out of her back today. ]

Better than I was yesterday. Thank you for asking. Have you found anything interesting here?

[ WHOA. well she can't help but notice them, though she does her best not to stare... ]

I see you got yourself some new wings? [ she smiles. what color are her wings... ]

I've found a few interesting sounding novels, but have only gotten to skim one or two. Do you enjoy reading at all?

[sonorant]

They will disappear in time. [ they're.... dark... a dark purple black kind of deal. ]

I do like reading. What kind of novels interest you the most?

week 3, saturday

[ she's conscious now and abandoning her post at the pyre, in favor of looking for robin. unless that is also where robin is...

but regardless, wherever she finds her, she just comes up beside her. they can be quiet for a moment. ]

[ she will be in a clearing, looking up at the lights in roth.

she will look at nina for a moment in acknowledgement before she goes back to stargazing. quiet, it will be. ]

[ nods back to her and then joins her in looking up at the stars.

then after a few more seconds of silence... ]

How are you feeling, Miss Robin?

Every weekend is difficult, but it's that way for everyone.

[ nods ] I can't disagree with that...

This might seem a bit out of nowhere, especially considering everything that just happened, but [ and she bites her lip, because everything is still very fresh. ] have you found your partner?

[sonorant]

I said in front of everyone that I haven't.

Ah... right. Sorry, I just wanted to make sure. [ squints up at the stars ]

It's just... how you were acting at trial, it made me wonder if you'd been put under some kind of affect, from a monster. Which could have been self inflicted or done by whoever has that affinity. But maybe I'm completely wrong and how you were acting was normal...

[ she feels kinda weird and bad now. ]

Sorry... it just had me a little worried, is all.

Is it a power you know? Or a power you have?

[ she gives nina a small smile. ]

[ time to explore the trail. robin looks up suddenly, stopping in her tracks. ]
