It's not like it's totally wrong... but I did work for the position and stature, until things changed and I was accepted into the family instead.

More or less. It was pretty broad but you could consider it something of a butler's assistant, with varying housework otherwise.

I imagine it's a position you'd be able to learn a lot from that vantage point. Outside of housework, too.

Sure, yeah. Learned a lot about fine dining and high living. What makes a wine good, which spoon goes with what dessert. Why people appreciate art and music.

I dare say you'd do better at high society function than I would.

No? But you really look like you'd fit right in.

Of course I can look the part, and I've attended enough glamorous events, but I've spent most of the past few years going to orphanages and building schools when I'm not performing or filming advertisements.

I wouldn't go that far. Being a celebrity is a vehicle for my mission.

Plenty of people lose the plot once they've got power in their hands.

I've given enough. It's more of a duty than anything else for me.

Maybe you should consider a break, before you burn out?

I have taken a break. I took a long break not too long ago.

People who double down and insist like that are often people who didn't actually get enough rest, in my experience.

Right now is a break from that life even if it is not a break in other fashions.

I'd almost consider that grabbing a petty win. Nobody sane would call this a reasonable break from anything.

It's not sane or reasonable break, but it's a truth. Otherwise, I was set to make another speech soon before coming here.

Pretty unpleasant detour.

It's been an unpleasant sequence of events for a while.

It's been a pretty nasty series of months... years.
