she gets shoved down, but she takes the knife she found earlier and lunges for his hand to try to stab it. ]
[ The man looks like he's about to burst a vein, like his eyes are going to pop out of his head when she dares talk back.

He can get stabbed, but this man is uhhh crazy. She'll notice that one of his hands is actually not even a full hand, it's just a stump, with which he'll attempt to start beating her with it, while she has to contend with the machete in the other. Which hand is she going for? Whichever one, she gets hit with the opposite.
She can aim for his head (very difficult), his arms, his torso, his legs... uh, his nuts if you want to I guess... ]
[ it is smarter to go with the hand with the machete. she can be beaten by the stump.
