[ whenever she's finally back in their room, she'll be sitting on their bed holding a carved wooden bird in her hands. ]

[sonorant]

[ what a trial. when robin comes back, she's a bit subdued. she sees the wooden bird, and there is some curiosity but what she asks is: ]

How are you after all that, Miss Aqua?

[keeper]

...I didn't think things would turn out this way.

[ she is deeply sad, but these are robin's castmates, so. ]

How are you...?

[sonorant]

Neither did I.

[ she moves to sit on her bed. she can't and wouldn't feign anything positive. her emotions and her thoughts are heavy. ]

[ she just goes quiet. ]

[ her expression softens to see the cute wooden bird. it's saddening in so many ways. ]

...It's difficult not to.

[ not exactly a yes, or a no. ]

Do you feel like you've failed your friends as well...?

[ they'd spoken about regrets just yesterday. how many more might there be for robin, this evening. ]

[sonorant]

[ yeah, the amount of tattoos she's gaining because her castmates is growing. their names are there to be seen. it doesn't need to be said. ]

[ she turns her hand so her palm meets robin's, fingers curling around hers. ]

[ her smile is sad, but it is also grateful. ]

I am sorry any of us have to feel this way. If there is peace where they have gone, that would be a small measure of comfort.
