[ in the distance.... as long as aqua is outside, she can hear some singing, but robin starts and stops in the middle of her song a lot before restarting from the beginning.

as if she isn't satisfied with something. ]

she follows the sound of the unidentified angelic voice! where does it lead her...

—oh wait, it stops. ]

...Is someone there?

[ she doesn't think any of the ghosts(?) in this place are supposed to sound this nice? so probably not a ghost(?) ]

W0 MONDAY

[ STAKING MY CLAIM ON ARA!!! aqua is genuinely happy to see robin here DESPITE EVERYTHING ELSE GOING ON. (the ink isn't acting up just yet.) ]

Would you like to share a room?

[ oooh miss aqua oooh

this isn't what robin thinks. she's in her default outfit so there's enough real estate for ink to show up. aqua may see something that looks like brother appear on robin's arm. ]

I have no problems with that. [ she smiles. ] I didn't expect to be assigned to any one building, but I couldn't ask for a lovelier roommate.

W0 FRIDAY

[ she is walking around a lot, searching for everyone she's met. ]

Miss Aqua, how are you? How were things for you last night?

[keeper]

Robin. Sorry I didn't make it back to the cabin last night. Were you okay last night?

[ though of course she's not sure that's where robin even stayed. still, she looks relieved to see her, though her expression quickly sobers again. ]

I was in the barn with Boothill and a few others. ...Aventurine wasn't there.

W0 SATURDAY

[keeper]

[ whenever she's finally back in their room, she'll be sitting on their bed holding a carved wooden bird in her hands. ]

[sonorant]

[ what a trial. when robin comes back, she's a bit subdued. she sees the wooden bird, and there is some curiosity but what she asks is: ]

How are you after all that, Miss Aqua?

is just aqua in their room sitting on her bed with her face in her hands.

but she will stay like this for a very long time.

when robin comes in and sees her like this, she sits down next to her in quiet companionship. they can stay like this for a very long time.

W1 MONDAY

[ there is a whole island to explore, but they also need a change of clothes or five. robin will grab aqua's hand as soon as she sees the clothing store and pull her in. ]

This is much needed. There is only so much washing clothing without detergent can go through.

[keeper]

[ NEW CLOTHES FINALLY... aqua is all-too happy to accompany robin, and gives her hand a fond squeeze. AFFECTION WEEK!!!! ]

I'm relieved. It's nice to try a little of everything...

[ glancing at robin, ]

Do you prefer to wear dresses? Yours is quite beautiful.

W1 TUESDAY

[ this should've technically been monday but anyway, she's just leaving robin a friendship bouquet in their room! it's a small arrangement of purple and white flowers :* ]

W1 SUNDAY

[ here they are.... back in their bare room.... will they ever try to make it better outside of the cute flowers aqua picked....? time well tell.

but this was a bad weekend! five deaths. five too many. robin is seated on her bed, looking as pensive as ever. ]

Aqua. This can't continue.

[ but how can they make it stop? ]

[keeper]

[ their empty room... at least... it is clean... and aqua will keep bringing fresh flowers so long as she can find them, to brighten up the space.

she seats herself next to robin, and of course the first thing she will do is twine their arms and hands together. she hopes it can be a reassuring connection, where nothing is reassuring at all. ]

No. But... we'll have to be ready for when it does.

...I wish there were a way to help everyone. More than just words.

[ and though she'll continue to hang onto hope and kindness, she recognizes those things aren't concrete solutions to their predicament. ]

W2 MONDAY

[keeper]

[ robin already knows her story, but she can still receive a memory of a dear friend, someone who had lost himself to darkness. she will turn her weapon against him, and she will fall into darkness to save him. (2:42:23 - 2:46:25)! ]

[sonorant]

[ she understands sacrifice, but it still pains robin to see aqua sacrifice herself like this. she knows how important her friends are to her, but to go through so much effort to fight (for) and save someone dear to you.... only to be separated from them - it's something she knows all too well. ]

... It doesn't hurt any less this time. You love so much, Aqua.

w2 saturday

[ i hate you so much

she approaches the barrier and the pyre. there is no other way to describe robin other than a deep, deep sadness radiates from her even if there are no tears. ]

Aqua. I'm sorry.

[keeper]

[ she'll regard her with a cold gaze. she is still in full transformation, with antlers on her head, and dark scales on her arms and legs where the shadows are. ]

It's too late for pity.

W5 SUNDAY

[keeper]

[ SHE WILL GO TO ROBIN WHEREVER SHE IS, the emotions are just a flood of relief and happiness to see her, but obviously some sadness as well.

regardless, she offers her hand to her immediately. despite everything that's happened. (or perhaps because of it.) ]

It's so good to see you again, Robin.

[sonorant]

[ it will be later because if aqua is fine with waiting, robin will run away to cry by herself.

she smiles when she sees aqua again, her own emotions reflecting happiness and relief. she truly is so glad to see aqua again. she takes the offered hand. ]

I'm glad to see you again, too. It's good to see all of you around.

w6 thurday

[ she is coming to aqua, wherever she is. her concern is apparent. ]

Aqua, how are you doing?

[ how injured did she get ]

[ sorry for all of this robin... 🥹 aqua's in one of the hospital rooms!

her injuries aren't entirely mended from the spring, but they're definitely less life-threatening than before. she has bandages over her left forearm, right upper arm, her chest and her abdomen (though those aren't immediately apparent under her hospital gown).

...her hair is lighter than usual, and her eyes are yellow.

she glances in the direction of robin's voice, but her gaze is decidedly off. ]

...Robin?

W7 TUESDAY

[keeper]

[ it feels like she was in the hospital a year ago, the last two days have been INSANE. anyway she's just here to check out the cave and get put in a halloween costume again. she frowns mildly because it does not evoke a good memory, but she can leave that aside for now. ]

...I'm glad our efforts paid off, but we still have a lot to figure out, don't we?

[ they don't need to discuss plot too much, but the general mood is contemplative about endgame... also i am so sorry she was in the hospital and had no idea what happened on robin's break-in, though oocly i was telling nu about it ]

[ help it is ok!! robin won't talk about it unless asked, so aqua can deduce it by seeing the runes... or she can just ask what happened while she was in the hospital, but unfortunately, it's not something robin will offer first. or she can notice that robin's makeup is maybe particularly meticulous today if that's something she'd notice.

we love halloween costumes. there is some surprise at the sudden outfit change. ]

I believe we can all agree on something that benefits all of us.
