I was in the barn with Boothill and a few others. ...Aventurine wasn't there.

[ at the mention of aventurine, her expression flickers. ]

... I know. Aventurine was at the cabin with me.

... Nothing was off when we were together.

[ closes my fukken eyes

...I see. Did you see him leave at all?

[ she shakes her head. ]

I think I was made to fall asleep. If he left after, I didn't see, unfortunately.

[ her regret is clear. ]

[ there's more than just physical rest, if she just needs a quiet place to just decompress, but aqua understands that sometimes being engaged is better. that's certainly her choice, right now. ]

[ she does know what aqua means, and she is someone who can become lost in her own introspection at times, but it helps her sometimes to get in a better frame of mind to see how people are doing, to know what they're thinking, to get the beat of the tempo of the village. ]
