she tells her how it all falls apart: their master struck down, their home crumbling to ruin. how their last great battle ended with ventus in a deep slumber, how she had to lock him away for his own safety. how she searched for terra, who had come to lose his body, and had fought the man who had taken possession of him to save his heart.
and then, finally, she tells her how she fell into darkness to save him—a place where time doesn't pass, a sprawling nightmare stretched into countless hours, days, weeks, years. how she lost her chance to escape, and has been waiting ever since for someone to return... ]

it pulls at robin's heart, the trials and tribulations that aqua has had to experience. the responsibility she has to bear, the pain and loneliness she must have endured, the extent she went to save the people dear to her. it saddens her, but she recognizes the strength aqua has to still be as she is now, to hold all her kindness and resolve even after being lost in darkness for so long.
she gives aqua's hand a gentle squeeze. ]
Miss Aqua... you have a strength no words can reach for all you've had to experience. Your love is admirable, and you do not deserve to endure that darkness any longer than you already have.

When asked, I've often described my life like a song. It starts off solemn before it comes brighter. My hometown was destroyed when I was young, and that was when I lost my mother. My brother and I were adopted by the Family, who are prominent figures in the Planet of Dreams I told you about. That's where I was raised and educated... and that's how and where I received my start as a singer.
