It's... complicated.

A dream should be distinguished from reality, but I also think you should be able to make some dreams a reality. They can be a reprieve, but it's sad if they're an escape.

It should not be the only way for someone to live.

My views might be skewed a bit, since I've recently had a pretty bad experience where dreaming was concerned. A shared dark premonition of unpleasant things to come, that sort of thing. I definitely wish that thing stayed distinct from reality... but I know that's not the type you mean.

...Somewhat as it sounds. When I first arrived in Prehevil, I saw a pretty awful dream.

Turned out to be not so much just a dream, once I learned all the other passengers on the train had the same one, and the man in said dream turned out to be the orchestrator for the nightmare we all experienced then.

trapped and trapped again is the feeling she gets from this. too tired and too trapped with the claws of grief that won't let go. the situation is worrying in a lot of ways. penacony is submerged in depression, but it's not that level of horror. ]
