[ she wears the word brother like an anklet, but it's not an anklet she chose. she doesn't seem to mind it for now. she smiles in greet. ]

[Lavi immediately brightens at the sight of Robin because of course he does. He's less stringent about covering up, since the words will show NO MATTER WHAT, so he's not wearing his long scarf. just his uniform and headband and eyepatch, the words "getting attached" are written on his neck.]

Hey, Robin. The house's not so bad, but it could better. 'Specially if I got to share the place with you.

But it's tough to fall asleep at night, so maybe it's better that we're not.

[ robin is out of the way somewhere, where there is more tree density. where she may not be as visible, she is audible.

she is singing. ]

[the song surprises him -- but it works as well as any tether, drawing him closer into the trees, closer to the voice, until he moves close enough that he thinks he can make out the figure singing it.

and there he simply stands, tilting his head back as he listens to the music.]

[hi robin... maybe you're having a very peaceful day on animal crossing island... unfortunately lavi will spot her immediately, and then head her way with his hands behind his back... woah.... maybe he's learned the rules of affection week and he's doing his best to respect her.........?]

she looks up at lavi and his hands behind his back with some curiosity. ]

[Lavi is sitting at one of the benches near the pyre, hands folded like he's thinking hard about something (or having empty thots for real), though he draws out of it when he hears Robin approach,]

[ she sits down next to him. she doesn't hide how somber she is. ]

[ there have been a couple moments where she's glimpsed a more serious side of lavi, but that's normal for everyone. she doesn't expect what this memory reveals. in many ways, it's both saddening and heartbreaking. there are things she understands, and there are things she doesn't.

hate is as close to love for lavi, for bookman jr. love cannot stop you from wanting to run away, but other things can. ]

We got taken like Suguru's group last week.

week 2, saturday

[ she's up in a tree, resting against the trunk. her little wings on her head cover her face. ]

[ assuming he'd come to check in on her, she's chilling on her bed in the cabin. i don't have swamp results yet.... so i'm being vague until i do.

she turns to look at lavi when he enters and offers a wan smile. ]

[ she's in the city! in the underground clearing, as far away as she can be from everything.

she's just sitting and looking up at the lights, stargazing and silent. ]

week 4, tuesday

anyway, she is out a the camp being a disney princess. that is, she is sitting and trying to get birds to fly and land on her.

there is one on her hand, and there are little stars twinkling above her head. ]

Lavi is fortunately free of being a child, so he happily bounces over to Robin so he can peer at her from his absurd height -- until he sees the bird on her hand. He immediately pauses some distance away,

and instead just watches her have fun without scattering all the PIGEONS with his brash presence.

[WELL SINCE THEY WERE INVESTING TOGETHER i assume they also went back to check the board together,

Lavi looks at the three posters emblazoned on the board, color leeching from his expression as he takes each one in.

[ she watches his expression carefully.

she silently reaches for his hand, nothing but sadness in her own expression. ]

... Whatever you want to say or do can go on my record again.

week 4, sunday

[wherever robin is, lavi will approach. he looks weary, but he will come over and stand or sit with her.]

[ they can stand for now. she looks up at him with worry. ]

[ i have no idea what's going on with lavi today, but since he ran away from her pretty quickly, robin goes to look for him later in the day. as early or late as you want it. there is some mild concern. ]

Lavi? Did something happen?

[there's a blip of surprise when she calls out to him, and he swings around to smile at her]

Hey, Ro.

[another beat -- and then a rush of embarrassment....]

Oh. No! Nothing happened. I mean, besides Ash turning into a puppy and Asa getting swapped with that illusion... And everything that happened with you guys.

week 5, friday

[well he is immediately heading over to her when he sees her!!!]

[HOW ARE THE EMOTIONAL VIBES!!!! his are bad -- there's anger and fear and also so much guilt, but his attention is focused on her]

[ they're terrible! rancid. there's grief and guilt and a whole bunch of other things. they're kind of dark, but she reins them in as much as she can. ]

Lavi. I— .... I'm glad you're alive.

week 5, saturday

[his expression and demeanor are very calm when he goes to see her -- but they're stiff, maybe still in shock.

his emotions are just a tumult of grief and guilt and anger and most of all, sorrow?]

[ her emotions are dark and churning. there is bloodthirst in here. ]

week 6, wednesday

[ lavi, your omegaverse banner. anyway, she'll wait until that's all over with before she approaches him. ]

[he brightens when he sees her, his smile a small, hesitant thing, but genuine]

robin's emotions are mostly at peace for a goal accomplished. she holds out a hand to lavi the moment she sees him after it's all said and done. ]

[he will immediately take her hand in his. his emotions are full of relief, and also exhausted, like the entirety of this week is seconds away from crashing down on him -- but not yet,]
